Welcome to the SpringBike400 - a 3 day bike tour around some of NZs most stunning scenery.
The route is simply tremendous with a broad mix of scenery from - Marlborough wine country; Nelson Lakes National Park; hop growing Tapawera & Motueka Valley; (optional ride) the marble mountain or Takaka Hill; resting in tiny resort villages of St Arnaud and Mapua; riding Tasman Bay & around the Queen Charlotte Sounds; before returning to Picton.
We ride for 3 consecutive days. Somewhere between 300 & 400 km is the goal.
Riders will be supported along the way - you can always jump into the van for a rest.
We leave on the InterIslander on Friday afternoon & start our riding from Picton on Saturday morning. Accommodation in Picton, St Arnaud and Mapua is included. As well as van support, breakfasts and 1 lunch. Bikers can make their evening meals at their accommodation or eat locally.
Accommodation - is organised to cater for group travelling. We use both private houses, lodges and Holiday Park. Expect that you will have to share a room with another rider on at least 1 of the 3 nights.
The maximum group size is 20 people. Confirmation by request and then full payment. If cancellation occurs there will be a non-refundable fee of $150 up to Sept 22nd. After this date the tour fee is non-refundable.
