We learn so much from every event we enter - no matter how big or small the race is. By taking the lessons from events we remind ourselves of the areas (physical, psychological, emotional, nutritional, self-management) that we can alter and improve next time. Many of these lessons are quickly forgotten within a few days - writing them down within 72 hrs will mean you are more likely to resolve them in your future. The best lessons are learnt on event day - so take time to think about what happened during the event and what you would retain or alter for next time.
